Day 3 Hat Yai - Thailand

okay day 3 at hat yai! day 3 was free and easy and it was also our last day in hat yai. we can sleep till whatever time we want, shop at whatever place we want and eat at whatever food stall we want. our only recommandation from the tour guide was to go to the market. we woke up around 9am. after we freshen up, we took tuk-tuk to the market. tuk-tuk provides taxi service in hat yai. it is not expensive to take tuk-tuk. 2 person for 40 baht which is ard $1.60.

that my mom in the tuk-tuk!

the size of hat yai market is about the size of Singapore's bugis street. the fashion was way too outdated (just like bugis street) so i didn't buy anything. oh yah, the shop owners will inflate the price of their goods for tourist. usually my mom will bargain 50% lesser before we buy from them.

many tuk-tuk drivers will park their car outside the market. it's quite convenient to get tuk-tuk in hat yai.

maybe this picture will give you a better idea of how riding a tuk-tuk is like. the tuk-tuk driver will reconstuct their pick-up with a shelter and sits but there is no windows and door. sooo...when it rains...???

since there's nothing to buy in the market we went to their departmental stall. surprisingly, there's a Robinson nearby the market, and they were offering mega discount so we did most of our shopping there. (:

by the end of the day, we just spend and shop at anywhere. we end up buying one full bed of stuffs.

my mother bought some humongous size lychee and ice-cream for dessert.

i just couldn't believe we bought so many stuffs.

just when we thought that we were going home next day, our tour guide told us we still have to go peneng for 1 day and then we will go home the following day. the trip isn't over. yet. hahahaha!
