1st stop, we visited a temple. the 2nd day itinerary consist of many temple visiting but me and my mom did not know anything about the itinerary because....we sign up this trip on impulse! Ahahaha! but it was good! me and my mom do not go to temple for prayer coz we are both free thinkers. Nevertheless, we still burn joysticks at home because my ahma has her religion. i had not step into a temple since i was very little. it's a good thing and time for me to pay a visit to the Gods and Goddesses. (:
there are many gods inside this temple. for every god we burn 3 joysticks. there are 51 tourist in this trip. i happened to be the last to poke the joysticks in the ash everytime because i am slow and i'm not sure how to pray. let's just say that the poking of joysticks was a very mentally stressing moment for me because every 香炉 will always be filled with joysticks when it's my turn. and i have to think of a way to twitch my wrist and fingers to find a spot for my joysticks without getting my hands burned. hmmm.... i got burned alot in the process but it was no big deal (:
and this is the 2nd temple, we are visiting the fortune God. this time round my mom said we shall not buy any joysticks, just use our hands to pray. phew! that was a relieve! but the remaining 49 aunties and uncles bought the joysticks.. we are a bit odd out.

after 2 temple visiting we went to a famous sharkfin & birdnest soup restaurant for tea break. the tour guide helped us to take a photo! yay!

after that we went to a famous 肉松店. my mom bought nut and kolopok肉松
i bought 2 packet of 肉松条aka狗大便! HAHAHA!
after that we had lunch near the mermaid lagoon. here's the mermaid! i'm trying to copy her by touching my hair but mine is too short. somemore it's the wrong side. largi worst!
my mom and i climbed up to take a photo with the mermaid! the rocks are steep.
and then my mom abandon me and asked me to take a picture with the mermaid alone. i nearly stampede down the rock just to get down after that. okay, that's extreme! actually, i climbed down easily with my mom's help d:
the sand was really hot! my mom tried to run back with her slippers!
what's that?! my mom saw a push cart again.
this is the push cart of Thailand. the one i took on day 1 is from Malaysia.
see how happy my mom can be with just a packet of sprite? next year's mother's day i'll get her 1 packet of sprite. HAHAHAHA!
then we went to the 3rd temple. to see the 觀音 again. i'm holding on to 50 sticks of joysticks. there are many gods and godesses in this temple too.
this time soon after i light my joysticks they start to burn like mad fire. initially i didn't notice it was burning with flames coz i was closing my eyes when i pray. but after i pray to 觀音and i opened my eyes i saw my joysticks burning like crazily! the wind was so strong on the hill i can't put the flame off. And i can't possibly smack the joysticks on the table to put out the fire and my mother was on her way to the 7th 香炉. omg. at that moment i was thinking if i don't put out the fire i won't be able to complete the rest of the praying coz by the time i reach the 4th 香炉 i estimate my joysticks would have finish burning to the studs. so i screamed for help and my mom exhange her joysticks with mine, the end. hahahahah! my mom's a hero!

after the temple visiting, we were supposed to go for message session but because it was too near to dinner's time, the aunties and uncles cancelled the programme. so me and my mom carry on to shop ard hat yai. hat yai is like orchard road but not as modern. there are many road side food stalls and cheap buys. here's one of it!
i like this Thai dessert. it's mango with coconut milk and rice. not sure what's the name of it.
after dinner we went out to shop again. but my mom decided that we should get ourselves a hairdo in hat yai. IT'S SUPER CHEAP! i did rebounding for 700 baht, about $28. she gave me free hair stream and a free conditioner on top of that. my mom gave her 200 baht tips. she really did a amazing job well done! their service is better than Singapore hair saloon!
