Chinatown and Samantha's 21st!

that's Samantha and Weilin! we were at Chinatown going to a Korean restaurant to celebrate Samantha's 21st! Siping and Xinwei were late so i didn't get them in the picture. Sam and Weilin are both studying in SIM but we just didn't get to see each other that often in school. maybe the timing wasn't right.

so this is the first thing they gave us. i don't know what drink is this. it taste like water but i looks yellowish. i'm guessing wheat water.

the spoon and chopsticks are metal. my fat fingers had a hard time holding onto those flat skinny chopsticks. i prefer Japanese woody chopsticks. yay i'm bias! d: it's more sturdy.

here comes the side dishes~ and they are all for free. this is culture. i didn't get all the side dishes in the picture cos it was a loooong row of it.

here's a fried rice cake dish requested by the birthday girl. i like it! it's spicy and the rice cake taste like mash mellow. yums! very Q.

this is the saba set. usually i will only order saba set in foodcourts, from those Korean stall. Samantha ordered this. the saba fish was big fat and juicy~

since i'm at a Korean Restaurant i thought i might as well order something different. this soupy dish is actually my order. Fermented soya soup. it smell like natou!!!!! luckily after my trip from Japan, i actually trained myself to like eating natou. so this dish was like POW! yummeh!! but if you don't like strong smell and taste food pls DO NOT order this. you might faint just before you start eating it. Hahahahahah!!!!

Siping came back from USA and she bought me this mug from Disneyland! love the colour! she really knows my taste (:

my MP3 spoiled and i wanted to get a new one but luckily, just before i went ahead to buy one my mom told me one of her student gave her a MP3 on teacher's day and she have not used it since then. so she gave me her MP3! OH THANK YOU MOM!

here's a electronic dictionary i bought (sponsored here and there by my parents and bro) for family usage. but i'm using it more often for my jap lesson so i'm kind of carrying it around more usual than my brother. but he doesn't mind. d:

some stationery i bought in popular! i also got files and foolscap papers. getting ready for school i guess. see that brown pen. this brown pen has a story behind it. on the night that i bought it, i was doing some art and craft and gods know why i'm so stupid i threw my pen away together with the rubbish. i was so pissed with myself so i told everybody including my cats. and when my mom came home later at night, i told her about my pen and she said she's going to help me dig out my pen from the rubbish chute!!! OH MY GOSH! she went to the back of the house, forced open the metal door, pull out the rubbish cart and dug out my pen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHHH!!!!! that moment i was right behind her. and she ask me to run home quickly because she is going to run right behind me and get the pen washed. her hand was super dirty but she said it is not as dirty as my cat thus she is not worried at all of the bacteria and everything. i don't know if i should cry or laugh or both. all i know is my mom is so proud she found the pen and she kept telling me when she was young her grandma used to carry her inside rubbish carts so that my mom can help her grandma find milk bottles to sell. i don't think that if one day my daughter stupidly throw her pen into the rubbish chute i will help her dig it out. therefore i want to say, 妈妈,你一直说你只是一个好妈妈,不是个伟大的妈妈,但是在我心里,你不只是好妈妈,你也是世界上最最最最最伟大的妈妈。妈妈我爱你!!!!! i'm going to tell her i love her everynight! AHAHAHAHAH!
