during this holiday, besides getting all crazed up with Final Fantasy, i'm also very into health. i think a few entries back i said about wanting to lose weight till i'm 55kg so i want to the library to read up on some diet books. why i want to lose my weight till 55kg was because i took a recent height measurement in a clinic and found out that i strunk. from 172 to 168cm. how was that even possible?! anyways. i didn't read ALOT of diet books, i only borrowed like 2 of it. as i read the books, i wonder if some of these fad diet stuff they talk about are designed for human or for aliens. it's simply UNattainable. so even though i said that i wanna lose some weight during this holiday, my weight just maintained at 59kg or it can sometimes swing till 61kg. then i was thinking, what the problem with me. it is because i lack willpower? or is it i didn't get enough exercise? some of the days i tried to diet and exercise by running but i realise i will slowly get tired of it and thus i go back to my usual self. so i visited the library again, to bookdrop, and also to get other reading materials like story books or Chinese novels instead. even so, i still went back to the health column to look at diet books which i don't know why (maybe my essential self really wanted to slim down.) this time, i skipped those flashy flashy book cover and took a very plain one which have the cover page saying nothing about dieting but something like a self motivational statement. i read that book. and it was indeed very interesting. there are alot of psychological mindset stuff in it. i went kinokuniya to get the book. it's by Matha Beck. i'm not sure if it's helping me to slim down coz there's nothing much about dieting in it. but reading it is motivating. so i went back to the library the third time to bookdrop and get new books, i found another plain book similar to Matha Beck's but this time its more about healthy living. it's by Dr. Shulman. to me it's like a biology book. talking mostly about macronutrients and research studies and diseases. (if you hate bio don't read it) to me it's interesting too. i enjoy reading it. and i think it's helping me to slim down! my conclusion is, if i want to slim down, i got to do it in an indirect way. for me, i love eating and diet book just makes me wanna eat more. but reading more scientific books about how all these nutrients and vitamins contribute to a healthy body, my brain tells me what i should and should not eat naturally. in addition to some psychology back-up, i think i'm living the healthiest time of me life right now. all been said, i still need to exercise abit. hahahaha!
yesterday channel 5 showed Final Fantasy Advent Children on 10pm! wow the world like loving FF! (my imagination) hahahah!
i feel like changing my skincare products to Clinique and i seriously need to do some shopping!
God bless me!
