last Saturday i participated in a makeup contest held at the Frontier CC. it was the MOST exciting event that happened to me this year so far! of course before i compete i did some research on how to makeup and what style i should use. my mom and i will always practice at twelve midnight just to get everything right. we practiced for 4 night straight before the actual day of competition. we were both panda-eyed!

on that day itself, everything was smooth until the fake lashes broke into 2 pieces when my mom tried to pull it out in the classroom while i was in the toilet. i think that was a funny moment coz my mom blamed me for buying cheapo $1.90 fake lashes. and i replied her an indian accent "cheap". WAhahahah! i also overdid the eyeliners. as a result i gotta extended the eyeliners till it looks like one of those Egyptian green eye makeup. my bad! when i was done everyone was stunned by my makeup! my mom look terrific! Fierce! Out of the box! Geitai!! HAHAHAHAHAH! it was everything that i thought it should be! my mom told me of all the 4 days of practice this is the only time i got the eyebrows right! wahahahaha! and indeed all the practicing was all worth it! we got 2nd place!!! wow!

after the price ceremony we went back to the classroom for evaluation. during the evaluation my makeup teacher told us the reasons why the 3 for us won. the 1st winner won because of her detailness, i won because of creativity and good colour combi and the 3rd won because she have good make up technique. now. the most unforgettable thing was when the teacher ask for our afterthoughts for this competition now that it has ended, when it was my mom's turn, she told the class that she was very touched as she never know that one day her daughter will makeup for her and she is proud of me! WahHHH! MAMA! LET ME SING YOU A SONG! "and everything i do~ i do it for you~" and secretly she told me if i ain't ambitious i would have gotten nothing d:
